Two former partners of PwC sent to custody

A magistrate court on Tuesday sent auditor Price Waterhouse's former partners S Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas Talluri to police custody.

A magistrate court on Tuesday sent auditor Price Waterhouse’s former partners S Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas Talluri to police custody,while rejecting their plea for release on bail.

The 6th additional chief metropolitan magistrate directed the police to take the two into their custody for two days from Wednesday.

The two were sacked by Price Waterhouse after their arrest.

The court,while dismissing the bail petitions of Gopalakrishnan and Talluri,also reserved orders on the bail application of SRSR Holding general manager Gopalkrishna Raju.

The family of Satyam Computer founder Ramalinga Raju,who is in judicial custody awaiting charges to be filed in connection with the Rs 7,800 crore fraud in the IT company,held stake in Satyam through SRSR Holding.
