UB Holdings Q2 net up 19%

United Breweries (Holdings) today reported a 19 per cent increase in its Q2 net profit to Rs 10.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30,2010.

United Breweries (Holdings) today reported a 19 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 10.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30,2010.

The company had a net profit of Rs 9.05 crore for the same quarter last fiscal,the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Net sales of the company was Rs 78.36 crore for the current quarter as against Rs 94.24 crore in the period last fiscal.

Shares of United Breweries (Holdings) today closed at Rs 333.65 on the BSE up 8.89 per cent from its previous close.
