Vidya to use prosthetics for Milans The Dirty Picture

Vidya Balan could very well be using prosthetics for her role in Milan Luthria’s The Dirty Picture. The film is a biopic on one of India’s biggest sex symbols,Silk Smitha,and Vidya will portray the turbulent life of the controversial actress,who was known to play some of the most bold and raunchy roles. Vidya is waiting for the release of No One Killed Jessica and then she will be doing some choreography rehearsals and workshops in Mumbai. Some prosthetic work also needs to be done with a foreign coordinator before she goes down South for her research on Smitha. There are some facial changes we want for the second half of the film as the role is across a period of time,and we are still examining how the prosthetics will work out. Vidya’s body contours will also be changed but we don’t know whether that will be done prosthetically or getting her to put on weight, revealed Luthria.

The film will take off in March next year and it will be the first time that the actress who has carved a name for playing soft,sensitive roles will ‘expose’. But it will all be done very aesthetically, said the director,who is also working on two other films,a multistarrer and an action drama,which will be announced in January next year.
