Woman jumps to death from 28th floor in Mumbai

A 24-year-old woman on Sunday died after she jumped out of her building in suburban Mulund,the police said. The victim,Nishi Jathwani jumped out

of her 28th floor residence at Runwal Pride building in suburban Mulund and was killed on the spot. Nishis body was found near the swimming pool.

Nishis parents have alleged that she must have taken the extreme step as she was being harassed by her in-laws for dowry.

Police are probing the allegations and are questioning Nishi’s husband and in-laws,who were there at home when the incident took place.
