Worth a listen – High Flying Birds

Noel Gallagher has released his first album since his exit from the band Oasis in 2009.....

Universal Music,Rs.395

Noel Gallagher has released his first album since his exit from the band Oasis in 2009. Gallagher continues the mellow style of Oasis in this album and contains a lot of melancholy-inspired lyrics. The songwriting dominates the tracks, which is a welcome change from the music-dominated albums of 2011. Some songs that deserve a mention for their inspired lyrics includes one on young love in the form of The death of you and me,the soft sad tone of If I had a gun and the happy and celebratory AKA.. What a life. Gallagher makes this album a success by carrying forward Oasis music rather than sticking to it. The slowness and lyrics-heavy tunes make this one of the most unique albums in recent times. In fact,it would be apt to describe this as a album as a mix of Beatles-inspired lyrics and music from the romantic 80s and early 90s.
