In a bizarre instance,Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has said that Pradesh Congress president Nand Kumar Patel has manufacturing defect

In a bizarre instance,Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has said that Pradesh Congress president Nand Kumar Patel has manufacturing defect.

The remark came during a discussion on energy in the Assembly on March 29 when Patel repeatedly interrupted Singh. The CM explained him,but he raised more questions. Singh then asked Leader of Opposition Ravindra Chaubey: Please explain him,I cant. When Patel still insisted,Singh said: Aap nahi samajh rahe to main kya karun, yeh to manufacturing defect hai (What can I do if you dont understand, this is manufacturing defect).

Next day,Congressmen protested in the Assembly, forcing the CM to express regret over his remarks.

Interestingly, while Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik had expunged lesser offensive words during a recent altercation between Agriculture Minister Chandrashekhar Sahu and Congress MLA Dharamjit Singh, the CMs remarks were published the next day in a newspaper.

The comment was made in a lighter vein, and the CM has expressed regret. Also, since it was published in the media there was no point expunging them. We have ordered their deletion from the Assembly recordings, Kaushik said.

Taking strong offence, state Congress media in-charge S N Trivedi said,The CM has become restless following a string of expose against him.

Patel said,This reveals his taste. He has been totally exposed now.
