Healthcare firm Zydus Wellness today posted 10.45 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 8.45 crore for the quarter ended June 30,2011.
The company had a net profit of Rs 7.65 crore in the quarter ended June 30,2010,Zydus Wellness said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
During the quarter under review,the firm had net sales of Rs 90.74 crore,a 3.9 per cent increase from Rs 87.32 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The company sells personal care brand ‘Everyouth’,apart from sugar alternative ‘Sugar Free’ and food brand Nutralite.
Shares of Zydus Wellness closed at Rs 699.50 on the BSE,down by 2.84 per cent from the previous close.
