Zydus Wellness Q3 profit dips 4.7%

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 19.56 crore in the corresponding period.

Healthcare firm Zydus Wellness today said its net profit declined by 4.7 per cent to Rs 18.64 crore for the third quarter ended December 31,2011,over the same period previous fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 19.56 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal,Zydus Wellness said in a filing to the BSE.

Net sales of the company stood at Rs 38.17 crore for the third quarter ended December 31,2011,compared to Rs 90.76 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

For the nine months ended December 31,2011,the company posted a net profit of Rs 44.19 crore,compared to Rs 40.67 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

Shares of Zydus Wellness today closed at Rs 411 on the BSE,down 4.61 per cent from its previous close.
