COIMBATORE, Jan 24: Eight wild elephants damaged the crops in the fields ajoining forest areas in Thondamuthur in the past 15 days. There farmers in these hamlets made a living by cultivating sugarcane, paddym bananas, coconut ragi, cholam and turmetic.
