MUMBAI, SEPT 18: Willy Joy scored for Western Railway as they defeated Bengal Colaba Young Star 1-0 in the First Division Gulf Oil WIFA Football League match at the Cooperage today. In another First division match, Bombay Muslims won 3-0 against Kalina Recreation. Yakub Ansari, Mohd Bashir and Swapnil Salvi scored the goals.

SeaView were also emphatic winners in the first division match, beating Goans SC 3-1. Elroy Rodrigues, Johnny Dias and Rajesh Matkari scored for the winning side while Anthony Fernandes reduced the margin for the losing team.

Jai Ambe won 3-1 against BPCL (Refineries) in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Trophy Div I-B League match conducted by MDFA at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel today.Santosh Devdas, Anil Upadhyay and Ashok Yadav scored for Jai Ambe while Allwyn Prasanna scored for BPCL. In another match, Bombay Central WR Institute bt IIT Powai 3-0. Annu scored twice while Salim D’Souza got the other goal. Deables (Sharath Menon) and Social Welfare (Farhan Ansari) drew 1-1.

Mount Carmel victors

Mount Carmel won the WCG conducted Inter-Parish Rink Football tournament. They defeated Immaculate Conception, Borivli 2-1 in the final. Conception took the lead thgouth Vijay Anand while Aldrin Bird equalised forCarmel. The game winner was scored by Sunil Razak.
