CHENNAI, Dec 22: Over 200 women took out a procession in the city from the Marudeeswarar temple in Thiruvanmiyur to the bus depot in support of their demands, which include 33 per cent reservation for women in Parliament. Organised by the Centre for Women’s Development and Research (CWDR), women who took part in the procession raised slogans condemning violence against women and the need to create awareness on women’s rights.
