HAMBURG: Two teams of research scientists in Paris and Finland have come independently to the conclusion that mosquitoes are attracted to people who exude sex appeal. A report published in the German women’s magazine Fuer Sie describes how Professor Paavo Tikkanen of the University of Turku in Finland asked couples and single people to spend some time in a mosquito-infested laboratory.

After conducting more than 700 random tests he reached a clear finding that people who produce a large quantity of sexual stimulation substances known as pheromones exercise a magical appeal for mosquitoes. The job of the pheromones is to attract the

opposite sex.

LONDON: Part of Adolf Hitler’s skull, and personal diaries and photo albums belonging to Russia’s last tsar, are being put on display exclusively for British tourists in Russia. The Hitler archives contain items documenting the final months of the Nazis before the Fuhrer shot himself in his Berlin bunker in April 1945.
