NEW DELHI, December 22: The Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress has been dissolved with immediate effect, according to the president, Jaiveer Nagar.

“The decision has been taken in order to revamp the state youth Congress organisation,” Nagar explained in a press statement.

Saying that “a process of re-allocation” has to be undertaken, the statement said that this dissolution marks only the first phase. “The second phase, of announcing a fresh set of DPYC office-bearers, shall be undertaken in a couple of days,” the note said. The workers aspiring to be appointed as state office-bearers have been advised to submit their bio-data and birth certificate in the office.
