24 JD-U leaders join RJD

Akela said that he and other disgruntled leaders have sent their resignation from the primary membership of the JD-U.

Twenty four JD(U) leaders,including former MLA Bhavesh Chandra Prasad,today quit the ruling party and joined the RJD to protest against the “dictatorial” attitude of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Prasad,along with the former JD(U) national secretary Sitaram Prasad Akela and other district level leaders took the membership of the RJD before its general secretary Shakeel Ahmed Khan.

Akela said that he and other disgruntled leaders have sent their resignation from the primary membership of the JD(U) to its national president Sharad yadav.

He charged Kumar and the JD(U) leadership with ignoring the rightful claims of the loyal leaders and workers in distribution of tickets in the assembly polls.
