The Aam Aadmi Party Wednesday announced its eighth list of 19 Lok Sabha candidates from six states, taking its number of candidates to 287.
Parveen Amanullah, an ex-JD (U) minister, will take on sitting BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha from Patna Saheb. Parveen was the social welfare minister in the Nitish Kumar government and resigned earlier this month to join the AAP. The other four names announced from Bihar are PUCL member Kishori Das (Sitamarhi), child rights activist Rajmangal Singh (Vaishali), Rahul Kriti Singh (Siwan) and Dalit rights activist Tiliya Devi (Jhanjharpur).

Another activist, Mithilesh Dangi, who has led a farmers’ movement against land acquisition by NTPC is being fielded from Hazaribagh.
The AAP has also declared candidates in Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra and MP in its eighth list.
