Azam Khan hits out at Amar over tapes issue

SP leader expressed surprise over Singh's attempt to prevent media from revealing contents of tapes carrying his conversations with some film stars and Niira Radia.

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan expressed surprise over Lok Manch president Amar Singh’s attempt to prevent media from revealing the contents of the tapes carrying his conversations with some film stars and corporate lobbyist Niira Radia.

“There happens to be something extremely objectionable in the tapes otherwise Singh would not have obtained stay from the Supreme Court on publication of such conversations,” Khan said.

“We have CD’s of those conversations and if allowed by the court we can prove that characterless persons have entered politics,” he said.
