Baba Ramdev backs Kejriwal over comments against Parliamentarians

"When we can elect MPs then why can't we have a right to speak against them," Ramdev asked.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev today backed key Team Anna aide Arvind Kejriwal,who courted controversy following his outburst against Parliamentarians,stating that though the activist’s choice of words could be objected to,his contention was “absolutely right”.

“There can be objection to the language or words used by Kejriwal but his contention is absolutely right,” Ramdev said at a news conference after observing a day-long fast against illegal mining and corruption in Goa.

“There is no doubt in what Kejriwal said,” he said.

“When we can elect MPs then why can’t we have a right to speak against them,” Ramdev asked.

Addressing an election rally in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh yesterday,Kejriwal had said that “rapists,murderers and looters” are sitting in Parliament.
