IJP-Congress tie-up can tap dalits’ anger against Maya: Udit

Raj alleged Mayawati govt had neglected dalits and had failed on law and order and other fronts.

A tie-up between Indian Justice Party and Congress or SP will wean away dalits from the ruling BSP who are feeling disillusioned under the Mayawati regime,IJP chief Udit Raj said.

“If Congress or SP ally with it,then IJP can unite dalits disenchanted with BSP and change the political equation in the state,” he told reporters.

Slamming the Mayawati government,Raj alleged it had neglected the dalits and had failed on law and order and other fronts.

He demanded a CBI probe into the mysterious death of Deputy CMO Y S Sachan inside the Lucknow district jail.

Raj also announced appointment of former SP leader Hariom Sahu as IJP’s vice-president.
