Police today recorded the statement of Congress worker Suresh Mishra,who had filed a case against former RSS chief K Sudarshan for his reported remarks against UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
The investigation into the matter has started and statement of Mishra has been recorded today. Based on the outcome of the investigation,it will be decided later if Sudarshan will be interrogated or not,” police said.
“In my statement,I have said that Sudarshan’s remark disturbed peace and harmony in the country and he has made derogatory remarks against the Chief of my party and so he should be arrested,” Mishra said.
A case against Sudarshan was lodged yesterday on a local court’s directive following Mishra’s complaint.
While interacting with the media in Bhopal on November 10,Sudarshan had called Gandhi a CIA agent and accused her of plotting assassinations of her husband and former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and his mother Indira Gandhi.
