Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said he foresees a bright future for the state but needs people’s cooperation to realise it.
Modi,at a function where earth and water from different villages of the state was brought here to be used in building Mahatma Mandir,said he sees a bright a future for Gujarat but needs people’s contribution to realise that dream.
“I see a bright future for Gujarat and it also needs people’s contribution and cooperation. We are not only laying foundation of Mahatma Mandir but foundation of the future of Gujarat,I can see that,” Modi said during his inaugural address of the 14-day long function.
“These sarpanches of far flung villages of the state have come here in this severe heatwave conditions to contribute to the cause,” he said.
“They have come with a pot filled with earth and water as their contribution to built Mahatma Mandir. I don’t think that when Mahatma Mandir was conceptualised,the government would have expected such a response from people,” the Chief Minister said.
Modi said representatives of over 18000 villages in the state would come here with earth and water from their respective villages over the next two weeks and they will be received by a minister of his government.
