Addressing a gathering at his ancestral village Saifai , Mulayam Singh Yadav said, “Media is chanting Modi-Modi. But the fact is that there is no Modi wave in the country.”

The SP leader said people would elect a non-Congress and non-BJP government at the Centre.

Although his party had fixed a target of 75 (out of total 80 seats) in the state, even if it won 50 seats, SP would have the key to form the government at the Centre, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav asked workers to strengthen the party at the Centre stating that it would help in development of the state.
