Open to pre-poll coalition in Uttar Pradesh: Mulayam

Criticising the BSP government,he said the law and order situation in the state was getting worse.

Samajwadi party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has hinted that his party could strike a pre-poll coalition in Uttar Pradesh to contest the 2012 Assembly election in the state.

The party was open to enter into a pre-poll alliance with political parties on the basis of ideology,Singh said without divulging the name of any party and added that the details will be revealed at an appropriate time.

He kept mum when asked about Congress,however,hinted of alliance with RLD saying that people do recognise the “friendship” between the two parties.

Samajwadi party will form the next government in the state,he claimed while interacting with mediapersons on Tuesday at a function here.

On the issue of 2G spectrum scam,he said SP was in favour of a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe.
