‘Organisational weakness led to Cong poll reverses in Bihar’

State Cong chief said organisational weaknesses,irregularities in distribution of tickets and indiscipline prevented the party from faring well in Bihar.

State Congress chief Choudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser today said organisational weaknesses,irregularities in distribution of tickets and indiscipline prevented the party from faring well during the October-November 2010 polls in Bihar.

“Organisational weaknesses,indiscipline and irregularities in distribution of tickets did not not augur well for the party which led to its bad performance”,Kaiser told reporters after reviewing the reasons behind party’s poor showing in the last assembly elections.

“We have take bold initiatives for making the Congress in Bihar more strong and vibrant henceforward”,he said.

To aother query,Kaiser said he had constituted an ad-hoc disciplinary committee to recommend action against the party rebeles.

“The committee is likely to submit its report within a fortnight for necessary action”,he added.
