UPA not serious about terrorism: Rajnath

BJP leader Rajnath Singh has accused the Congress-led UPA Government of not being serious about terrorism.

BJP leader Rajnath Singh has accused the Congress-led UPA Government of not being serious about the menace of terrorism.

Speaking at a function organised by a group of industrialists here last evening,the former BJP President alleged that inner politics and factionalism within the ruling alliance were preventing the government from taking the menace of terrorism seriously.

He also accused the top-brass of Uttar Pradesh police of supporting criminals and alleged that the Mayawati government was not paying any attention to the matter.

“The people of Ghaziabad feel insecure because of rising crime in the area. However,I cannot do much for welfare of the residents because neither the BSP government in the state nor the Congress-led Central Government is cooperating with me,” the Member of Parliament from Ghaziabad said.
