ISRO, in collaboration with MyGov, has launched an online quiz contest to celebrate Chandrayaan-3’s successful soft landing. Indian citizens of any age may participate by signing up on isroquiz.mygov.in and solving 10 questions on our moon mission. The prize pool of the Chandrayaan-3 Mahaquiz totals Rs 6,25,000, with certificates for all non-ranking players.
The best performer on the Chandrayaan-3 Mahaquiz will be awarded Rs 1,00,000 (one lakh), while the runner-up will win Rs 75,000. The second runner-up will receive Rs 50,000, and the next best 100 performers will win consolation prizes of Rs 2000 each. The top 200 after them will also receive Rs 1,000 each. As this is a timed quiz, one’s ranking will depend on their solving speed and accuracy. All 10 questions will be shuffled and taken from a larger, automated question bank.
Each quizzer’s performance will be linked to their MyGov account and submitted contact details. The same information cannot be used more than once to participate. In case of duplicate entries, the first attempt will be taken into consideration. MyGov’s guidelines do not clarify how a tie-breaker would play out. For more information, you can explore the Chandrayaan-3 Mahaquiz website.
