Adobe has launched Acrobat Studio, a new platform that brings together several of its productivity and creativity tools, like Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Express and AI agents.

In a press release, the company said Acrobat Studio “transforms PDFs into conversation knowledge hubs,” which allows users to make use of customisable AI Assistants that can share insights, answer queries and summarise content.

These insights can be used to create presentations, infographics, and other visual outputs using Acrobat Express. Users will also be able to make use of Adobe Firefly to turn the text into an image or video.

For example, the new tool can come in handy for business professional to engage with their files and turn them into reports or infographics without having to resort to any third-party application. It is useful for students who want to organise their notes and turn them into study guides, consolidate research and even generate citations from sources.

Acrobat Studio also introduces a new feature called PDF Spaces that can read and analyse several PDFs, web pages and other files and transform them into “dynamic experiences” using AI agents. The company says the AI Assistants can be assigned specific roles like “instructor”, “analyst” or “entertainer” to get information in the form you want.

For those wondering, PDF Spaces can be shared with others so they can get the same knowledge and insights are you. If you don’t like any of the pre-set AI Assistants, Acrobat also lets you create your personalised assistant that caters to your needs. The new platform also brings together Adobe’s other PDF tools for scanning, editing, combining documents, e-signing and the ability to summarise scanned documents with AI.
