Anthropic has been steadily adding new features to Claude, its AI-powered chatbot. Recently, at the World Economic Forum, the company CEO Dario Amodei told in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that they are currently working on a bunch of ChatGPT-like features that include a voice mode and the ability to remember things. Like OpenAI's popular chatbot, Claude will soon be able to talk to the chatbot and even get replies, enabling a hands-free conversation. Anthropic also added that the AI chatbot will be able to remember things and answer queries by understanding the context. While Claude does offer some ChatGPT-like features, including the ability to upload and analyse PDF files, it does lack certain basic functionalities, like searching for information on the Internet. Compared to ChatGPT, Claude is definitely falling behind in terms of feature sets, but Anthropic seems to be taking the lead with its newly launched AI agents. In the interview, Amodei also addressed his uncertainties about the future, where AI agents will double up as assistants, allowing humans to focus on other things. He revealed that Anthropic will be releasing smarter AI models in the future but did not specify when they will be available. As for Artificial Superintelligence, the company said that AI might surpass human capabilities as early as 2027. Last year, a report claimed that Google is relying on Claude to improve the responses provided by its in-house developed AI model - Gemini.
