Google recently unveiled a new plan for Google One subscribers that offers access to Gemini Advanced, the paid tier of Gemini powered by the Ultra 1.0 model, the company’s most powerful large language model to date.

Dubbed ‘Google One AI Premium plan’, the company yesterday announced in a blog post that users who subscribe to the plan will now be able to use Gemini in Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets and Meet without having to pay extra.

Google says Gemini Advanced is capable of performing highly complex tasks and responding to various inputs like text, code and images. It can understand, generate and explain code in several programming languages as well and is far more capable in terms of reasoning and following instructions when compared to the free tier.
