YouTube, one of the most popular video streaming sites in the world, is experimenting with a new feature that enables YouTube Creators to get Google Gemini inspired video ideas, thumbnails and titles.
In a video posted on the company’s Creator Insider channel, YouTube announced a new feature called “Brainstorm with Gemini.” According to a recent report by TechCrunch, a YouTube spokesperson said that the new feature “is available to select creators as a part of a small, limited experiment” and that YouTube would wait for Creator’s feedback before rolling out the functionality to everyone.
Earlier this year in June, YouTube was testing a feature that summarised comments using AI so Creators can get inspiration for new content based on what audiences are discussing. Compared to other video sharing platforms and YouTube-like services, the new tool gives YouTube a head start since no other video sharing platform offers these advanced features at the moment.
The report also states that creators now have the option to use the new Brainstorm with Gemini in addition to the existing inspiration tool to get help with videos. To give you a quick recap, the inspiration tool gave Creators topic ideas for their audience and even generates an outline of talking points to get started. YouTube also said that it will see if Creators prefer the existing tool or use the new Gemini powered functionality to get video ideas.
If you are interested in trying out the new tool, open Creator Studio and type an video idea in the search bar. Here, you will be able to choose between the inspiration tool or Brainstorm with Gemini.
