LG NP1540W Express Review: Easy on the ears and wallet

The LG NP1540W is a very compact speaker and will easily sit beside any of your audio sources, be it a mobile phone, laptop or TV. In fact, it is not much bigger than a laptop speaker and can actually be paired with another one of its kind for a stereo experience.

What is good?

This little box has great audio quality that does not conform with its size. In fact, I used it during a projector review and no one would have guess that the sound to go with the 80-inch images were coming from a speaker that could be held in your hand.

The sound quality is also full and deep, ideal for those who like to hear serious music especially of the classical genre. Even at high volumes the speaker does not crackle and that is an achievement for any speaker this size. Thankfully, LG has not loaded this one with extra bass as it is the tendency of most affordable music devices in India.

What is not that good?

The NP1540W does not have any major flaw, but I found the volume and pause buttons a bit too tiny to handle easily. It is also placed n a groove and hence a bit tough.

Should you buy it?

Of course if you are looking for an affordable Bluetooth speaker. Plus, if you want to scale up later on, this comes with the pairing mode that doubles the sound output as well as the fun.
