Seagate has announced the launch of Backup Plus Ultra Slim, which the company claims is the world’s thinnest 2TB mobile hard drive. The Backup Plus Ultra Slim comes with 200 GB Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage and Lyve software compatibility.
“Based on our breakthrough ultra-mobile hard drive technology, this new storage solution gives them a better way to manage the increase in both data volumes and number of devices,” said Tim Bucher, vice president for Seagate’s Consumer Group.

Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim is 9.6 mm slim and comes with 2.5-inch HDD technology. Users can keep more than 500,000 songs, 320,000 photos or 240 hours of high definition video in Backup Plus. It is available in golden and platinum metal finish.
The Seagate Dashboard software in Backup Plus Slim offers one-click on-demand or customizable scheduled backups for their devices. The 200 GB free Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage comes for two years. The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim is exclusively available on Amazon India at Rs 5,699 for 1 TB and at Rs 8,399 for 2 TB.
