Ultimate Ears unveils beach and snow proof UE Boom 2 speaker at Rs 15,995

Ultimate Ears has unveiled the UE Boom 2 portable speaker in India. The successor to UE Boom is now beach as well as snow proof and the company is pitching it as anywhere-you-go-proof wireless speaker.

UE Boom 2 is waterproof like its predecessor with IPX 7 certification and drop-proof up to five feet high. UE Boom 2’s speaker is 25 per cent louder and has a longer wireless range of 100-feet.

UE Boom 2 comes with 15-hour long battery backup and tap control to skip songs. UE Boom 2 can be paired with any other Ultimate Ears speaker using UE Boom 2 app for Android and iOS.

UE Boom 2 is priced at Rs 15,995 and will be available in cherrybomb, phantom, greenmachine, tropical and brainfreeze colour variants.
