The ROG Ally (2024) is likely to pack next-generation hardware, possibly the latest chip from AMD. It is likely to come with an APU like its predecessor, rather than dedicated graphics. It might also come with a bigger battery and better thermals.

Many users, on various online forums, reported that ROG Ally (2023) (review) killed their microSD cards as the card slot was located just around the heat vents. The new iteration is likely to solve this issue.

Asus introduced the ROG Ally in July 2023 in India for Rs 69,990. The handheld console received a massive price cut recently, currently retailing at Rs 49,990, making it one of the most affordable Windows-11 powered handheld gaming consoles in the market.

It offers 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage with a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
