God of War Ragnarok, one of the most anticipated games of the year, will be coming to the PC tonight at 8:30 PM in India. Developed by Santa Monica Studio for PlayStation 5, the final chapter of the Norse Saga’s PC port is made by Jetpack Interactive, the same studio that worked on the previous version of the game.
God of War Ragnarok is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed God of War (2018) and follows Kratos and Atreus’ journey. With the Fimbulwinter underway, the father and son duo will have to make their way through the Nine Realms as Odin prepares his forces in Asgard for Ragnarok, the event that will mark the end of the world.
Apart from the Leviathan Axe, Blade of Chaos and Guardian Shield, Kratos will also get some new skills that will test the Spartan’s skills as he tries to protect his family.
In a blog post, Sony revealed that the PC version of God of War Ragnarok will be coming with a bunch of new features like a “Reduced puzzle hints option,” that reduces the frequency of puzzle hints you get from your companion.
The game developers also added another new option called “Cinematic Audio Description” that can be toggled from the game setting under the Audio Accessibility tab. Enabling this feature will offer audio description of visual events during cinematic cutscenes and offer more
information in addition to the spoken dialogue for a more immersive experience.
System requirements for God of War Ragnarok are pretty low, as Sony says gamers will be able to run the game even on older graphic cards like the NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX5500 XT. The company also shared a table that shows the recommended system requirements for running the
game at different resolutions and graphic settings.
God of War Ragnarok is currently available for pre-order on Steam. The base version of the game is priced at Rs 3,999 while the Digital Deluxe Edition bundle will cost you Rs 4,799. Sony is also giving the Valhalla DLC for free.
