LinkedIn introduced a new game—Zip, a logic-based puzzle game for professionals—on March 18. This puzzle game is designed to test problem-solving skills, requiring players to draw a path through the grid to connect numbers in order while ensuring every cell is used.

According to Lakshman Somasundaram, Director of Product at LinkedIn: Video, Games, and Moonshots, Zip is a quick warm-up game, especially for fans of Queens or Tango—two other popular LinkedIn games with over 2.5 million active players. Compared to other games on LinkedIn, Zip is easy to learn and takes only a few seconds to understand. As the week progresses, the game’s difficulty increases, with Monday being the easiest and Friday the most challenging.

Zip can be played on mobile and desktop browsers, as well as in the iOS and Android LinkedIn app. Users with an older version of the app may need to update to the latest version to access Zip.

Games on LinkedIn can be accessed via linkedin.com/games and through the app via the ‘Me’ menu.

If the game gets tricky, it features a built-in intelligent hint tool to help players clear difficult levels. As users continue playing, they will generate a streak, which will be visible within the LinkedIn Games widget.
