Dell will be one of the first PC makers to announce Qualcomm X Elite-powered PCs in the second half of 2024. Months ahead of the official launch, the upcoming PCs from Dell have surfaced online, giving us a hint at what to expect from Dell’s first set of ARM-based PCs. Windows Report has gained access to the product images of the upcoming devices, which include the Inspiron 14 7441 Plus, XPS 13 9345, and more.

According to the leak, the Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus will come with a 16-core Snapdragon X Elite processor and will run on Windows 11 24H2 with a new AI Explorer and other AI capabilities. The laptop is said to come with 16 GB of RAM, non-upgradable, and the design of this machine is inspired by a classic Inspiron with a slightly curved design. Despite being a thin notebook, it does include a couple of USB-C ports, a USB-A port, and a microSD slot, and also comes with a dedicated copilot key.

AI Explorer is an upcoming feature on Windows 11 and is said to be an advanced version of Copilot, where it can search both the PC and the web to deliver relevant information. It is also said to be capable of offering features like summarising emails, removing the background from the image, and more. This feature is said to work only on select Windows 11-powered PCs with at least 16 GB of RAM.

Similarly, the XPS 13 9345 looks quite similar to the XPS 13 Plus with an edge-to-edge keyboard and trackpad. On top of that, it might come in two flavours, powered by an Intel Core Ultra and the Snapdragon X Elite, again with a similar set of features, including capabilities like AI Explorer.

Both machines are expected to be positioned as premium thin-and-light devices and meant for those who need a capable PC that’s easy to carry around and also delivers stellar battery life. Dell is likely to unveil these machines in the second half of 2024, and we can also expect to see similar products from all the major PC brands by the end of this year.
