HP today added two new laptops to its convertible Spectre X360 lineup. The new models include 14-inch and 16-inch laptop PCs powered by Intel's Core Ultra processor with users having the option to opt for Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series GPUs. The new Spectre x360 models also feature a dedicated AI chip which brings features a walk-away lock and wake-on approach, privacy alerts to let you know if someone is snooping on your machine, and a screen dimmer that saves power when you are looking away. HP says the 16-inch Spectre x360 has the largest ever haptic touchpad on a Windows laptop. Both models come with a 2.8K OLED screen with IMAX Enhanced Certification with support for variable refresh rate, which automatically adjusts from 48Hz to 120Hz depending on the content you are viewing. Some other features include automatic performance optimisation that works by adjusting the fan noise and temperature depending on the workload, battery status and the placement of the laptop. Powered by the recently announced Intel Ultra processors, users have the option to go with the Nvidia GeForce 4050 GPU for laptops. On the audio front, the laptops have speakers tuned by Poly, an audio company HP acquired in 2022. The new Spectre x360 series laptops come with a 9MP camera that supports hardware-backed low light adjustment, enabling users to attend video meetings during both day and night time. As is the case with previous models, the new laptops come with touch-screen support and can be rotated up to 360 degrees so you can use them as a tablet. The HP Spectre x360 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop PC starts from $1,499 (approx Rs 1,24,600) whereas the 16-inch model starts from $1,599 (approx Rs 1,33,000).
