Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs now available in India: Here’s everything you need to know

Microsoft’s Copilot+ PCs, which the company unveiled earlier this year at the Build 2024 developer conference are now available for pre-order in India. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and the Snapdragon X Plus ARM processors, the Surface Laptop 7 and the Surface Pro 11 are the company’s first PCs shipping with Copilot+ features and a dedicated Copilot button on the keyboard.
The latest from Microsoft comes with Neural Processing Units (NPUs) that help with AI-powered tasks and offer an all-day battery life. The Surface Pro is also available in a new OLED option with HDR display while the Surface laptop has a touchscreen display with thin bezels.

The new Copilot+ PC Surface devices can be pre-ordered from retailers and e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales and select stores. Microsoft also offers a complimentary Marshall Major IV wireless headset worth Rs 14,999 and a one-month free Microsoft 365 and PC Game Pass subscription.

Microsoft Surface Pro 11
Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro 11, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors is 90 per cent faster than its predecessor. The laptop packs a 13-inch screen and lets users connect up to three 4K external displays. It offers up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.
On the connectivity front, the Surface Pro comes with two USB-4 ports, Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.4, a Surface Pro keyboard port, a Surface Connect port and a DisplayPort 2.1. Microsoft claims that the laptop can last up to 14 hours on a single charge if all you are doing is watching videos stored locally on the device.
The base model of the Surface Pro 11, which has 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD is priced at Rs 1,16,999 whereas the entry OLED model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage costs Rs 1,65,999.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 7
Available in two screen sizes – 13.8-inch and 15-inch, the Surface Laptop 7 is a touchscreen-enabled laptop with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Like the Surface Pro, the Surface Laptop 7 is powered by the latest Snapdragon X series chips and up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Microsoft says that the 13.8-inch version can last up to 20 hours on a single charge whereas the bigger 15-inch variant offers up to 22 hours battery life. You get two USB-C ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Surface Connect port and a MicroSDXC card reader with the 15-inch model. The entry-level variant of the 13.8-inch Surface Laptop 7 with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD can be purchased for Rs 1,16,999 while the cheapest 15-inch model with the same config is priced at Rs 1,42,999.
