Motorola through its official blog post announced its plan to roll out the latest Android Marshmallow OS upgrade to its existing smartphones. The new Android version will be rolled out to Nexus smartphones next week. While Motorola was quick to announce its plans with Marshmallow, the company did not reveal any timeline for the same. Here are the phones that will be getting Android Marshmallow update: Moto X Pure Edition Moto X Style Moto X Play Moto X2 Moto G3 Moto G2 Moto Turbo DROID Turbo Moto MAXX Nexus 6 Moto E users are left stranded. Even the new Moto E buyers are not included in the update list. While Marshmallow doesn’t bring anything radical in terms of update, it brings some tiny improvements that matter in normal use. Android Marshmallow addresses some of the long-time issues like battery life and app permissions. It refines the material design and enhances the voice functionality.
