Apple iPhone 14 series will consist of four variants this time. The iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus/or iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will get a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display respectively, with Apple expected to end the iPhone mini lineup. The iPhone 14 series will get the older A15 processor, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP wide-angle camera. The old notch will also continue on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. We will have to see how Apple makes improvements to the base variants of the iPhone, considering that these are expected to get minimal changes.

The big changes will be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro series. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will continue with the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inches OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. But Apple will change the way the notch appears on top, which will now have a pill-shaped cutout. Reports indicate that there will be two cutouts on the iPhone 14 Pro's notch, but it will appear as one when in use. The iPhone 14 Pro series will also get the new 48MP camera and other bigger improvements to the overall camera as well. Bigger batteries are likely on the way as well, though Apple typically never talks battery size during the presentation.
iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro series: All the changes we expect
Coming to the Apple's Watch Series 8, it is expected to continue with the same design as the Series 7, though it could sport a new body temperature sensor. An Apple Watch SE 2 could also be in the works. The Apple Watch Pro is also expected and this one is aimed at athletes, etc. Finally, Apple's AirPods Pro 2 are also expected to get an upgrade. The AirPods Pro originally launched back in October 2019.
Apple will also reveal the dates for when iOS 16, macOS and watchOS 9 will be available for download. Apple has confirmed that the iPadOS is already delayed and will only come in October.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 and Pro Max at $1099. So Apple has not increased the prices. The India prices are not yet out, but they should be soon.
The bigger camera sensor gets in more light making the Pro models much better in low light photography. Computational photography goes a notch up with ability to clarify images to show more detail, even in low-light conditions. The quad pixel sensor is capturing more information with each click. And the video quality also goes up many notches with the new action mode that stabilises all videos without a gimbal. And, cinematic videos now get 4K resolution.
The A16 Bionic processor is now limited to the iPhone 14 Pro models and lets the phones do a lot of new stuff including a 1Hz display refresh rate and an amped up camera with 48MP quad pixel sensor, the largest ever on an iPhone.

There's a new Action Mode to make the video loo a lot more stable.

Apple is introducing low-power mode to give users 36 hours of battery life on one charge. The Apple Watch will disable the Always-On display when this mode is turned on without disrupting the user experience. The feature is coming to Series 4 and above on Watch OS 9. Apple is also bringing international roaming on Watch Series 5 and above.
It looks like the Apple Watch Series 8 will be able to detect if you're in a car crash. Apple is relying on a host of sensors in the watch and its special algorithm to help detect these crashes in vehicles such as cars, trucks and SUVs. It only works when you are driving.
It is interesting why Apple is introducing this feature. This is aimed at helping women decode their period cycle better, which frankly is often ignored. It's got a slightly bigger display, but we don't know the exact screen size just yet. And yes, it continues with the ECG sensor, the A-Fib detection. It now comes with a temperature sensor as well as predicted it focuses on women's health.
Cook opens up the keynote to talk about how Apple has ensure seamless integration across products. And he's right. Apple's ecosystem works seamlessly, and that's something most Android phones can only dream about. It looks like the Apple Watch will be the first product that gets revealed. The first video has users talking about how the Apple Watch saved their lives. Apple Watch can detect falls, irregular heart rhythm, A-Fib and very high heart-rates as well.
Nandagopal Rajan: Tim Cook says he's happy the event is back to physical. But the event is actually a hybrid, the real Cook has given way to a pre-recorded film on the screen. Again, this makes the Apple Event more accessible.
