Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad launched its Note 3 at a price of Rs 8,999 making it the only Android smartphone to come with a fingerprint scanner under Rs 10,000. Coolpad Note 3 will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting 2PM on October 20. Buyers need to register themselves for the sale.

Coolpad Note 3 runs its custom Cool UI 6.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It offers a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display along with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. Powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, the Coolpad Note 3 runs on a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 CPU with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The device supports up to 64GB microSD cards.

The Note 3 houses a fingerprint scanner at the back which support 360-degree finger rotation. The fingerprint scanner can also be used to secure app payments.

The device offers dual SIM card slots and supports 4G connectivity. It will be available in White and Black colour options.
