Lava International Limited has announced the launch of the Iris X1 with a very affordable Rs 8,000 price tag. The phone will be among the cheapest with the new Android 4.4 KitKat version and will sport a 4.5-inch IPS display.

A release said the design and aesthetics of the smartphone will carry forward the concept of the Iris Pro series. The phone will also have an 8MP rear camera.
