LeEco, the Chinese internet technology company, has announced its first 'Made for India' product. At an event earlier today, the company announced Le 1s(Eco) with company's Supertainment services. Le 1s(Eco) is not a new smartphone, but can be seen as a software enhanced version of its previous budget offering Le 1s. Le 1s(Eco) will serve as showcase device for company's Supertainment services. Watch: LeEco Le 1s Video Review Le 1s(Eco) features a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset with PowerVR graphics. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The metal unibody smartphone doesn't support expandable storage, and has a 3000 mAh battery. "Le 1s Eco will redefine entertainment in the country. With this Blockbuster Superphone, we live up to our promise of offering the best value, breakthrough technology and great features at a disruptive price," said Atul Jain, COO, LeEco India. Le 1s (Eco) also uses USB Type-C port for charging and supports fast charging. Le 1s(Eco) comes with 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone also has a rear fingerprint scanner. LeEco has announced tie-up with Hungama, Eros and YuppTV for its own range of entertainment services. The company also announced an app named LeVidi, which aggregates videos from across the internet. LeEco has announced its Supertainment package for Rs 10,899 which includes Le 1s(Eco) priced at Rs 9,999. LeEco says it will offer the Supertainment package smartphone for Rs 9,999 during the first flash sale on May 12. The registrations for the Flipkart flash sale starts at 2 pm on May 3.
