OnePlus 13s with Snapdragon 8 Elite launched in India, starts from Rs 54,999

OnePlus, on Thursday, June 5, officially launched the OnePlus 13s in India. The company’s first ever compact flagship phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite- Qualcomm’s fastest chipset to date and joins the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R.

The latest from the company competes against the likes of the iPhone 16e, Pixel 9a and the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Weighing just 185 grams, the OnePlus 13s sports a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of brightness in HBM mode.

The back of the phone has a squircle-ish camera island on the top left side that houses a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation accompanied by a 50MP telephoto sensor that supports 2X optical zoom. And while the rear camera can record 4K videos at 60 fps, there is no support for 8K recording. As previously rumoured, you also get a 32MP selfie shooter on the front of the phone.

OnePlus has also removed the iconic Alert Slider and replaced it with Plus key, which lets you quickly access a new feature called AI Plus Mind. In case you don’t want it, the company says it can also be customised to quick launch features like camera, translation or flashlight. Moreover, users will also be able to switch between ring, vibrate and silent mode by simply long pressing on the new key.

Running on Oxygen OS 15.0 based on Android 15 out of the box, it will come with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 13s is backed by a 5,850mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, However, the phone misses out on wireless charging.

Available in three colourways -Black Velvet, Pink Satin and Green Silk, the base variant of the OnePlus 13s with 256GB storage is priced at Rs 54,999 while the 512GB storage variant can be purchased for Rs 59,999. The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon, OnePlus India website, OnePlus Store app as well as offline retail partners like OnePlus Experience Store, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales and others June 12 onwards.

The company is also offering SBI Credit card customers an instant bank discount of Rs 5,000, bringing the effective price down to Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999 for the 256GB and 512GB models respectively.
