With Motorola heating up the foldable smartphone segment with the recently announced Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra, OnePlus might be the next brand to join the bandwagon.
Earlier this year at the OnePlus 11 launch event, OnePlus officially teased its upcoming foldable with a short trailer suggesting the phone might be launched sometime in the third quarter of 2023. It looks like the company has already trademarked the names ‘OnePlus V Fold’ and ‘OnePlus V Flip’ in China.
Some leaks also suggest that OnePlus will be holding a launch event for the phones in August this year which falls in line with the known tipster Max Jambor’s claim. While not much is known about the phone right now, the upcoming OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip might be based on Oppo’s Find N2 phones which were launched in India in March this year.
It’s true: our first foldable is coming out later this year!

To give you a quick recap, the Find N2 Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and comes with a 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with the outer cover display measuring 3.62 inches. The Indian variant of the phone comes in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
On the back, you get a 50MP primary camera tuned by Hasselblad with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. It packs a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging and runs on ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
In India, the Oppo Find N2 is priced at Rs 89,999, so expect the upcoming OnePlus foldable devices to be priced in the same range.
