Realme 3 launch highlights: Realme 3 will go on sale on March 12, 12 noon, starting with a price tag of Rs 8,999.

Realme 3 Price in India, Specifications, Features Launch highlights: Realme 3, the latest smartphone from Realme, has launched in India with a starting price of Rs 8,999. The company hosted the launch event in New Delhi. Previously the company has launched the Realme One, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme U1 and Realme C1 smartphone in India. The new Realme 3 will compete against Xiaomi’s just launched Redmi Note 7 and Samsung’s M-series smartphones.

Realme 3 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option will cost Rs 10,999. The Realme 3 phones go on sale on March 12, on Flipkart.com. Realme 3 runs the MediaTek Helio P70 processor and has a 4,230mAh battery, 13MP+2MP dual-rear camera, 13MP front camera and runs Android 9 Pie based ColorOS 6.0.

Realme 3 Pro will be launched in April

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth announced that the company will unveil the Realme 3 Pro in the month of April. The upcoming device will compete with Redmi Note 7 Pro in India.

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera, so in order to compete with the same, Realme 3 Pro might bring in a 48MP camera or a similar sensor. Once Sheth hinted at introducing a 48MP camera sensor in a Realme device then he denied it by saying that the company does not see any point in having such a sensor.

Realme 3 price starts at Rs 8,999, will go on sale on March 12

The price of the Realme 3 is Rs 8,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant and Rs 10,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant, for the first five million users. The first sale of the device will be on March 12, 12 noon.

The device also comes with Rs 5,300 worth benefits from Jio and Rs 500 instant discount on HDFC cards and EMI.

Realme 3 is powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 processor coupled with Mali-G72 GPU. Realme claims that the Antutu Benchmark of the device is 137901 which is 80 per cent higher than Realme 2's score of 76513.

Nidhi Bhatia, Product Manager for Realme India unveiled the Realme 3. The product is available in two colours, Dynamic Dark and Radiant Blue. The device has a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a water drop notch on top, 1520x720 resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.

Realme is set to launch Realme 3 today at an event in New Delhi. The launch event is scheduled at 12:30 pm and the company is expected to livestream the launch event through its official Twitter and Facebook handles and Realme website. Users can also catch live updates of the launch event right here at the Indianexpress.com website.

Realme 3 is expected to sport dual camera setup on the back, a rear fingerprint scanner, and a waterdrop style notched display. The device is also expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 processor paired with a Mali G72 GPU. It will likely run Google’s Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company’s own ColorOS 6 skin on top.
