
Samsung A Galaxy Event April 2019 highlights: Samsung has launched two new Galaxy A-series smartphones – Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80 at its ‘A Galaxy’ events in Bangkok, Milan, and Sao Paolo. The Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A70 feature different features and specifications. We expect both the smartphones to launch in India sooner than expected. The company has also merged its Galaxy J-series into its Galaxy A series of smartphones.
Out of the two, the Galaxy A80 is the company’s first smartphone with a rotating camera. This phone is also the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 730G processor, which is optimised for mobile gaming. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A70 is a mid-range device.
Samsung Galaxy A80 will be available starting from May 29. Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy A70 will be made available starting April 26. The company is yet to reveal prices for both the devices.
The camera is the highlight of the Samsung Galaxy A80. It comes with a triple rotating pop-up camera, which consists of a 48MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide (123-degree) with f/2.2 aperture and a third 3D depth camera. The triple camera system, which is aligned vertically, pops up and rotate to the front when one wants to click selfies.

Samsung Galaxy A80 will be made available in three colour options - White, Gold, and Black. Whereas, the Galaxy A70 will be made available in Coral, Blue, Black and White colour options.
Samsung has already said that Galaxy A80 will be launched in India before July this year and it will be priced at around Rs 50,000.
The official event seems to be over, Samsung will be rolling out prices for both the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80 at a later date.

Samsung Galaxy A80 sports an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports biometric authentication for unlocking the phone. It is backed by a 3,700mAh battery with super fast charging technology. The phone gets a 3D glass back design with metal frames.
