Samsung has launched two models in its Galaxy A and E series of smartphones in India. The Galaxy A series- A3 and A5 sports a metallic body while the E series- E5 and E7 features the regular plastic body. Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 is priced at Rs 20,500 and Rs 25,500 respectively while the Galaxy E5 is priced at Rs 19,300 and Galaxy E7 costs Rs 23,000. All the four smartphones run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Samsung TouchWiz UI, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU and sports dual SIM card slots. Galaxy A3 features a 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and mounts an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. On the memory front, it has 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space which can be expandable and is powered by a 1,900 mAh battery. The A5 sports a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display along with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP rear camera. The device comes with a 4G LTE Cat4 modem and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 64GB. It is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery. On the other hand, the E series has an almost similar spec sheet in a plastic body. The E5 sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display while the E7 has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The E5 comes with 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (64GB expandable), 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera and 2400 mAh battery. The Galaxy E7 features 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (64GB expandable) and 2950 mAh battery.
