Videocon today introduced its Z55 Dash smartphone in the market. The company states that the smartphone has been designed in India and will be available exclusively on Flipkart at an introductory price of Rs 6,490. Videocon Z55 Dash runs on a 1.4GHz octa-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM with support for up to 32GB microSD card. It comes with an 8MP rear camera with Flash and a 5MP front camera. It features protective Camera Lens made of Corning Glass with Dual Anti Reflective Coating to enhance picture quality. Powered by a 2,200 mAh battery, the smartphone support 3G connectivity and sports a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with Dragontrail X Glass protection and runs on Android KitKat OS. Videocon Mobiles is offering a 90 days free subscription of antivirus software, V-Secure and GPS-powered personal safety app, V-Safe.
