Street View app will let users post 360-degree photos to Google Maps

Google has released a new Street View app for iOS and Android and users too can now share their 360-degree photos.

Google’s Street View is now available as an app for iOS and Android users. It will allow users to post their own 360-degree photos to Google Maps as well.

The new Street View app also comes with an explore section to let users see other people’s 360-degree photos.

Google’s Charles Armstrong, Product Manager for Google Maps wrote on their official Map blog, “In one gallery, you can explore Street View collections and content from Google Maps alongside photo spheres contributed from people around the globe.”

The new Street View App is powered by Google’s Photo Sphere technology and will replace the original Photo Sphere Camera app for iPhones and the Street View from Google Maps app on Android phones.
